Introduction
The Student Research was recommended by the university Student Research Board and formally established after approval by Prof. Youssef Al Eissa, Vice President, Educational Affairs, King Saud bin Abdulaziz Unversity for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) in April 2015.
Objectives

Develop a strategic plan to encourage student centered research.

Provide guidance in the submission of student research to the Institutional Review Board, either in the College or in the hospital.

Support and strengthen undergraduate education by providing students with training, support and access to facilities that will allow them to conduct research.

Evaluate finalized student research projects.

Develop a database for student research projects.

Organize annual competitive scientific research meetings and other research related activities/events.

Foster interdisciplinary, national and where possible international research collaborations.

Encourage and promote the dissemination of research results in conferences, meetings and other scholarly activities.

Prepare and submit annual research reports to the University Student Research Board.
Vision
The Student Research vision is to be a center for student research development, consultancy and publication at College of Nursing - Jeddah (CON-J), King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
Mission
The Student Research mission is to foster innovative student research, supporting the objectives of College of Nursing - Jeddah (CON-J), King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS).
