Biography

Dr. Wafaa Bin Ali received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from King AbdulAziz University, Jeddah, KSA, in 1997. After she graduated, she worked as a registered nurse in Intensive Care Unit at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Jeddah, MNGHA, KSA, from 1998-2005. She received her Master degree in nursing from George Mason University, in 2005 and Nursing Administration Postgraduate Diploma. Upon returning to Saudi, she assumed the role of Clinical Resource Nurse. In 2007, Dr. Bin Ali shifted her career to be an academician and joined King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Science, College of Nursing as a lecturer. In 2018 she earned a doctoral degree in nursing from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), School of Nursing, Portland, Oregon, USA. Her research interest evolves around ICU work environment, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Quality of Care, Patient Safety, and Teaching with Technology. Dr. Bin Ali is chairing multiple committees and currently serving as Assistant Dean Clinical Affairs.
