Dr. Hend Al Abdu Al Najjar is a graduate of Bachelor in Nursing from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, KSA in 2000. She obtained her Master of Science in Advanced Nursing Studies from Manchester University, UK in 2008. She also obtained her PhD in Nursing from Manchester University, UK in 2012. Additionally, she obtained her other Master’s degree in Medical Education from College of Medicine, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University in 2019. She worked as a Senior Staff Nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and was promoted to Clinical Resource Nurse in King Abdulaziz Medical City, Jeddah, KSA (2001-2007). Dr. Hend Abdu Al Najjar joined the College of Nursing-Jeddah, KSAU-HS in 2013 as an Assistant Professor and currently promoted to Associate Professor in Pediatric Nursing, KSAU-HS in August 2021. Dr. Al Najjar served as Assistant Dean, Clinical Affairs, CON-J, KSAU-HS from February 2015 to September 2016, Associate Dean, Academic and Student Affairs, CON-J, KSAU-HS in September 2016. Recently, Dr. Alnajjar was appointed as a new Dean, College of Nursing –Jeddah in May 2020 to present.
