Breast cancer awareness 3

The community service unit continues with the amazing contribution of the CONJ family to raise awareness about breast cancer. Today, Dr. Seham Al Sulami, Dr. Doaa Al Mostadi, and Ms. Zainab Al Shami, with their nursing students, went to 39 School for Girls to raise awareness about breast cancer and its prevention. Thank you, Dr. Seham, Ms. Zainab, and Dr. Doaa, for your valuable participation to enhance community health.

The community service unit continues its breast cancer awareness campaign. Today, Dr Neama and Dr Heba and their amazing nursing students went to Bahra Al Mojhadeen 2nd to educate high school girls about breast cancer. Thank you, Dr Neama and Dr Heba, for your great effort.

Breast cancer awareness

As we kick off the month of October in community service activities, one of our major health awareness campaigns is breast cancer international awareness month. Today, Dr Seham Al Gamal and her amazing nursing students conducted a health awareness campaign in Bahra Al Oula High School for Girls. Thank you, Dr Seham and our nursing students, for the great effort they made today to raise awareness about breast cancer. Along with Dr Seham, Dr Khulud Abu Dawood was also there as a campaign supervisor. Thank you, Dr Khulud, for your valuable participation.

Alzheimer's disease

The community service unit would like to share with the CONJ family the success of today's event. The Alzheimer's awareness campaign was held today in the outpatient ACC building. The student volunteers from the College of Nursing, along with their faculty supervisors, Dr Reham Yassin, Dr Kholod Abu Dawood, Ms Arwa Al Sadoon, and Dr Seham Al Sulami, made a great effort to raise awareness about Alzheimer's.

Saudi National Day

The community service unit is glad to share with CONJ family a series of Saudi Day celebrations supervised by Ms Nashwa Fouad and her wonderful nursing students who went today to Al Berr Organization for orphanages to celebrate national day with those in need and to instill a sense of community engagement among our students. Thank you, Ms Nashwa and her students, for the great effort to bring joy to the hearts of children.

Obesity awareness

The community service unit would like to thank Dr. Basma and her students for their efforts in conducting the obesity awareness campaign. Dr. Basma, Ms. Shrihan, and our students conducted different activities for the children in the 18th primary school. Thank you, Dr. Basma, Ms. Shrihan, and our nursing students for helping our community.

Child Development

The community service unit is glad to share with CONJ family the first community service activity done by Dr Rania Bafail and Dr Ebtisam Abdul Shakoor with their amazing nursing students. The campaign was held at Dar Al Thiker School during parent-teacher conference to educate mothers about the importance of their child's developmental milestones and their personality types. Thank you, Dr Rania and Dr Ebtisam, for the great work.

Personal Hygiene

Another successful health campaign was conducted today by our amazing faculty and students. Dr Jamila Fallatah and Dr Ebtisam Munshi, along with their nursing students, conducted a campaign in Asmaa Bint Oman School in Bahra regarding personal hygiene.

Cervical Cancer

The community service unit would like to extend its thanks and appreciation to Ms Zainab Al Shami and her nursing students who conducted a health awareness campaign about cervical cancer in intermediate school 11.

Breast Cancer 4

As the community service unit continues to activate campaigns to raise awareness regarding breast cancer at different locations across the community, today, Dr Neama, Ms Reem Hijazi, and Ms Nashwa participated in organizing the event, along with their amazing nursing students, making a successful breast cancer campaign held at Dar Al Hekma University.

Smoking hazard

The community service unit is proud to share with the CONJ family today's event held at Horizon International School to raise awareness about the hazards of smoking. The campaign was supervised by Ms Zainab Al Shami and Dr Sawsan El Galad, along with their amazing nursing students. Thank you for a successful event, and hoping for many more to come.

Mental Health

The community service unit is glad to share with you the success of today's health campaign. Ms. Yara and Ms Shimaa, along with their amazing nursing students, went to Al Afaq International School to raise awareness about mental health. Thank you, Ms Yara, and your team, for making a great effort to promote the health of the community.

Women health

Osteoporosis

The community service unit would like to extend its thanks and appreciation to Dr Kholod Abu Dawood and Dr Reham Yassin, who conducted a campaign with their nursing students to raise awareness about osteoporosis. The campaign was held at the National Guard Specialized Clinic. Thank you, Dr Kholod and Dr Reham, for your great efforts.

Career Day

The community service unit is excited to highlight its involvement in Career Day activities aimed at guiding students towards their future career paths.

Skin Care

The community service unit is glad to share with you the success of today's health campaign. Dr Ghada Kurban and Ms Khawla Hanifa and their amazing nursing students went to Al Koon International School to educate high school students about skin care and healthy management of acne.

Smoking

The community service unit would like to thank Dr. Amnah and her wonderful students for their efforts in conducting the awareness campaign about the dangers of smoking and electronic cigarettes at Jeddah International School. Thank you for your efforts to promote health awareness in the community.
